Ready to take the next step? Mahjong 102 is designed for players who understand the basics of American Mahjong but would like more guided play and practice before playing completely independently.

Before attending Mahjong 102, we recommend completing Mahjong 101 at least twice or having equivalent playing experience. Players should be comfortable identifying the tiles, setting up the game, following the Charleston, using the NMJL card to find potential hands, and understanding the basic flow of play.

During 102, we’ll focus on guided gameplay, choosing and changing hands, strategy, and building confidence at the table.
